Hey you guys! So I have told you about how I like to try and be as healthy as possible and wanting to do as best I can for my family with our nutrition. Well I recently discovered that my youngest has been showing signs of wanting to eat and drink my husband’s and my foods. Most mornings I try to either juice or make a smoothie and decided to make one to share with her. I made a really simple ingredient smoothie that is good for babies and great for those who want to ease their way into drinking green smoothies. It’s awesome to add to any meal time!
1 cup coconut water
Handful of spinach
6-7 chunks of frozen mango
1 ripe banana
That’s it! It’s subtly sweet, refreshing, and healthy. (Disclaimer: I am not a doctor and I don’t know your baby. Speak with your pediatrician about this recipe before serving it to your child.) My baby had already had some of all of the ingredients except the spinach and I didn’t feel it would be harmful, and she has been enjoying it ever since and so have I.
